Hi! I'm Kathryn! You can call me Kat if you'd like.
I love astrophotography, shooting sports and tinkering/making things. In my free time, I write poetry, go on night hikes, and fish. I also have a fascination with all sorts of image intensification devices, between their assembly, use, and specialized photography.
I got this blog to replace my old blog, which became entirely overrun by poetry and is now a dedicated poetry page.
I also work part-time for Carlough Manufacturing as a night vision service/assembly technician, and I've assembled a several units for him. I also offer an assembly and optical calibration service as well; I can assemble and boresight/collimate both monoculars and binoculars.
